Stephanie Ying – Oboe

Stephanie Ying is an oboist and teacher in the Baltimore area. Originally from North Dakota, she has had the pleasure of performing with ensembles such as the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, the Fargo Moorhead Symphony Orchestra, and the Missouri Valley Chamber Orchestra. An active educator in the area, Stephanie maintains a private oboe studio out of her home in Catonsville, MD.

Stephanie holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music and Concordia College. Her primary teachers include Richard Killmer and Stephanie Carlson.

When not playing oboe and making reeds, Stephanie enjoys hiking, knitting, and trying new restaurants with her husband.
