Fred Gleason – Trombone

Trombonist Fred Gleason began his 33 year career in the United States Army Band in 1976. He performed primarily with the Concert Band in nationally significant events and concerts in the Washington, DC Area and across the nation. Fred also traveled abroad with the band to Sweden, Australia, Japan, and the Netherlands. Additionally, he performed in thousands of Full Honor Military Funerals in Arlington National Cemetery.

Both before, and even more after his retirement in 2009, Fred has led an active freelance life in the musical scene of the Mid-Atlantic Region. He is the brass instructor at the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts in Hagerstown, MD.
