Christopher Blossom – Saxophone

An active performer and teacher, Christopher Blossom enthusiastically presents music through the United States and abroad. “I’ve always been fascinated with creating something out of nothing as well as the collaborative and communicative power of music.”

He currently serves as saxophonist in the Concert Band of the US Army Field Band were he performs as a soloist, chamber musician and clinician. Christopher holds degrees from Bowling Green State University and the University of Michigan, where he studied saxophone with Dr. John Sampen and Donald Sinta as well as bassoon with Nancy Lutes and Richard Beene.
